Endorsement of Senator Linthicum for Oregon Secretary of State, regarding his positions on election integrity.
On April 28th, 2024, the board of Watch the Vote USA (WTV) interviewed, and unanimously approved Senator Linthicum’s political positions on elections. Specifically, WTV unanimously approved Senator Linthicum’s positions of:
1. Identification for voter registration.
2. No vote by mail, excepting valid absentee voting (military, health, or working away on election day), meaning voting only physically at the precinct.
3. Identification when checking in at the precinct to vote.
4. Hand counted paper ballots, counted by hand at the precinct, counted in public view at the precinct, before the ballots have been removed from public sight.
Watch the Vote wishes all candidates for Secretary of State (in all 50 states) held the same positions. Note: WTV does not endorse a candidate, but only their positions.
